Willis Lloyd Goodman was born on the family farm south of Burke, South Dakota on December 11, 1934 to Francis and Edna (Zeiner) Goodman and he died September 21, 2020 at the Butte Healthcare Center in Butte, Nebraska at the age of 85 years.

Willis grew up on the family farm near Herrick, South Dakota,  He attended the Goodman Country School and graduate from Bonesteel High School.  He then farmed west of Naper Nebraska and was united in marriage to Janet Cline and to this union three children were born: Bradley, Nancy and Ellen.  The family then moved to Colorado in 1960 where Willis worked as a computer technician in the manufacturing field.  He retired in 1990 and moved back to Naper in 1992.  During his retirement he enjoyed helping on the farm.  He was later united in marriage to Sally Ehnes in 2000.  They belonged to the United Methodist Church in Burke, South Dakota and later the Community Bible Church in Butte, Nebraska.

Willis is survived by his wife Sally of Naper, NE; his children: Bradley and wife Tawney Goodman of Northglenn, CO; Nancy and husband Mitch Roth of Sartell, MN and Ellen and husband Matt Bengtson of Naper, NE; grandchildren: John Trabue, Joann Goodman, Jason Roth, Kelly Reffett, Nicole Maxwell, Matt Bengtson, Riley Bengtson and Adrianne Bengtson; great-grandchildren: Neveah, Jade, Conner, Elijah, Jameson, Hannah and Lilly; his brothers: Dale and wife Melvina of Naper, NE and Vernon and wife Linda of Naper, NE and sister Doris Moses of Omaha, NE.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Edna.
