Steven Richard Wheeler, the son of Sue Wheeler and Rick Wheeler, was born August 1, 1990 at O'Neill, Nebraska. Steven passed away Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 as result of a car accident near Herrick, SD He graduated from West Boyd High School in 2009. In his youth, Stevenenjoyed playingbasketball and had a passion for LeBron James. He also enjoyed skateboarding, dancing, and playing video games.He had his own unique sense of style and prided himself on his shoe collection. He married Jordyne Hoffman on September 2, 2014 in Yankton SD. After marriage Steven and Jordyne lived in Butte NE and soon after moved to Herrick SD. Steven worked at Hipke Welding in Spencer NE. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and never missed a moment to be silly. Steven's daughter was his pride and joy and he savored every moment spent with her. Steven was excited to become a father of his expected son in October, 2015. Steven is survived by his mother, Sue Wheeler, Butte, NE.Hisfather: Rick Wheeler, Yankton SD. Hiswife: Jordyne Wheeler, Herrick SD.His child: Kyrianna Wheeler, O'Neill NE. His siblings: Susan (Kenny)Schulte, Butte NE; Stacy (Derrick)Bryant, Springfield OR; Shanna(James) Brooks, Butte NE. His grandparents:Butch & LaVeena Wheeler, Bristow NE. His parents-in-law: Dennis & Allissa Hoffman, Burke SD. His nieces: Samantha Schulte; Kara Schulte; Mercedes Brooks; His Nephews: Karter Schulte; Trey Bryant; Trevor Brooks; Landyn Bryant; Myles Brooks. Many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert & Beverly Kuhl; His Aunt: Judy Kuhl; His nephew: Creighton Soukup; His friend: Cody Ruegge. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the West Boyd Attendance Center in Butte, NE. Burial will be in the Butte Cemetery, Butte. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the School.
