Ryan Petersek, 32, of Platte, SD passed away on Sunday, July 3 near Platte, SD.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner, SD.  Burial will follow in the Gregory IOOF Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 6-7:00PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner with a prayer service beginning at 7:00PM.

Ryan Joseph Petersek was born on April 3, 1984 in Tyndall, SD.  He was born to Rick Petersek and Darla Hunt.  Ryan was raised and attended school in Colome, SD.  After high school he did various electric work in Sioux Falls, Watertown, and Kimball.

Ryan was a very fun loving, kind hearted, quick witted Dad.  He had two children: Rustin (11) and Lydia (3) who he loved more than anything.  He enjoyed spending his time with his family and many friends.  Ryan also enjoyed fishing and camping.

Ryan will surely be missed.  He was always care free and fun spirited.  Everyone was proud of what he was doing in his life and we know that he is in a great place now.

He is survived by his children, Rustin Petersek of Winner and Lydia Petersek of Webster, his parents; Darla (Dean) Hunt of Platte and Rick Petersek of Colome, SD, brothers; Jessie Labahn of Sioux Falls, Ramsey Petersek of Platte, SD, Rowdy and Riggs of Wisconsin, and Jordan of Rapid City, sister Danae Hunt of Platte, his grandparents Ray and Betty Petersek of Colome and Danny and Louise Barth of Liberty, Missouri.

Ryan is preceded in death by his sister Lindsey Petersek and grandparents Marvin and Carol Long.
