Roberta "Bobbi" Lee Davis, was born January 30, 1951, in San Antonia Texas to Jessie Irby and Aaron Lee Parker, and passed away on September 23, 2012 at Avera McKennan Hospital, at the age of 61 years.

As a young girl, Bobbi and her mother moved to South Dakota where she attended school in Herrick & Burke School Districts. On December 24, 1968 she was united in marriage to John Davis. Born to this union were three sons, Shawn, Cory & Chris. Bobbi later followed John to the Norton Air Force Base in California, after he returned from overseas. Bobbi & John returned to South Dakota in 1974 and later settled in Bonesteel. She was a housewife and worked at "John"s Standard Station." She also enjoyed baking, canning and spending time with her grandkids.

Bobbi was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bonesteel, where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and was a past President of Ladies Aide. She was a past President of the American Legion Auxiliary where she helped organize and sold concessions at the local baseball & softball games. For a number of years she also sold Amway.

Bobbi is survived by her sons Shawn (Joan) of Spencer, NE; Cory (Jeanne) of Bonesteel, SD & Chris (Ashley) of Bonesteel, SD; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her siblings Rhonda (Gregg) Marcellus of O"Neill, NE and John (Shelley) Ullrich of Norfolk, NE. Surviving sister-in-laws Sarah Schmitz of Butte, NE; Donna (Carl) Ludemann of Naper, NE; Joan Kaye Davis of Chamberlain, SD and brother"in-law Norm (Melva) Davis of Sioux Falls, SD. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, beloved friends & neighbors. Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John and brother-in-law Gerald Schmitz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke, SD. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Fairfax. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM, with a 7 PM prayer service, at the funeral home.
