Patricia Kay (Grim) Klein was born April 2nd, 1953 to Leonard "Ray" and Irene (Stahlecker) Grim in Gregory, SD. She was the second born child in a family of ten. She passed away February 7th, 2020 at the Burke Hospital in Burke, South Dakota at the age of 66 years.
Pat grew up on the family farm six miles south of Gregory. She attended the Gordan School District #46. Pat was 14 years old when her mother died and it affected the family greatly. Pat attended Gregory High School and graduated in 1971.
Pat met the love of her life, Delbert and they were united in marriage on April 8th, 1972. To this union two children were born: Calvin Lee and Dulcie Kay.
During her lifetime, she was always by Delbert's side to help with all of the farm/ranch work. She worked at the Burke Community Hospital for 47 years. She enjoyed many simple things in life such as: gardening, fishing, cattle, horses, and spending time outdoors and with family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. She had a very special place in her heart for her husband, children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Pat was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Burke. She was also a member of the Grace Ladies Aid and the Burke Hospital Auxiliary.
Pat is survived by her husband and best friend, Delbert of Herrick, SD; her children: Calvin (Erica) Klein of Mills, NE and Dulcie (Wade) Swan of Herrick, SD; her 4 grandchildren: Sierra, Jaden, Emerson and Shalee. Other survivors include her siblings: Rich (Sara) Grim, Nola Grim (Harland), Danny Grim, Randy Grim, Jan Schrader, Darwin (Kerri) Grim, Tina Schmaltz-Grim, sister-in-law Nancy Grim; In-Laws: Vernon (Diane) Klein, Dennis (Marilyn) Klein and Karen Klein. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Leonard 'Ray' and Irene Grim; her grandparents; infant sister and brother, Cheryl and Dennis Grim; brothers: Larry and Rod Grim; father and mother-in-law, Rudy and Mildred Klein; sister and brother-in-law: Deloris and Kent Sinkular, and niece Brandy Jean Klein

If we listen closely, we can hear the rustle of Angels Wings and we know that you're still with us.

Funeral services for Patricia "Pat" Klein, age 66, of Herrick, SD will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church in Burke. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Burke. There will be a prayer service on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to both services at the Church.
