Obituary
Orlando Joseph Black Bull, 65, of St. Charles, South Dakota passed away Friday, November 30th, 2012 at Avera McKennen Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Orlando was born in St. Charles on June 18, 1947 to Soloman Black Bull Sr. and Alvina Patterson.
Orlando lived in St. Charles and grew up there as well. He also loved traveling, camping, and even though he didn't have any children he raised dogs, cats, roosters and chickens. He was a well-respected man and he will be greatly missed dearly.
Orlando was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew Brad Black Bull and his niece Stephanie Blue Bird.
Orlando is survived by his longtime friend Beverly Serna, his sisters Pearl, Winifred, Beartrice, Debbie, Bernadine, Maryann, Yolinda and his brothers Soloman Jr., Sylvester, Christopher, Melvin and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Orlando Black Bull, age 65, of Herrick, SD will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Milks Camp Community Hall near Bonesteel. Burial will be in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, rural St. Charles. There will be a wake beginning on Monday at 5:00 PM at the hall. Clausen Funeral Home, Burke, is handling the arrangements.
