Mavonne Burger was the only child born to Dallas "Sam" and Eileen (Anhorn) Burger on February 19, 1947 at Burke, South Dakota. She was raised in Bonesteel, SD where she received her education, graduating from Bonesteel High School in 1965.

On November 13, 1965, she was united in marriage with Robert L. (Bob) Finke at Bonesteel. For several years, she and Bob traveled around the area following a bridge construction company that Bob worked for. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1976 where they raised their three daughters. Mavonne was a stay at home mom until her daughters were grown. She worked at Target for a number of years where she found a close circle of special friends, many of whom she continued to spend time with after her retirement.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Bob, of Sioux Falls, SD; her three daughters, Tracy (Russ) Schmidt of Menominee, NE, Tricia Finke, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Tara (Robert Padilla) Hoch, of Garden City, KS; 6 grandchildren, Matt (Amanda) Oltmanns; Kelsey Oltmanns; Marissa, Nathan, and Jada Schmidt, and Robert Padilla, Jr. She is also survived by her parents, Sam and Eileen Burger, of Bonesteel, SD.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Bible Church in Bonesteel. Burial will be in the Herrick Cemetery, Herrick. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
