Marlo G. Willuweit, a lifelong resident of Jamison, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the Arbor Care Center in O'Neill, Nebraska at the age of 83. He was born August 22, 1941, to Robert Willuweit and Anna Stahlecker Willuweit.
He spent his formative years in Jamison, a place he called home his entire life. After serving his country for two years in Vietnam, he worked for the county as a maintainer for several decades. Beyond his professional life, Marlo's passion for music shone brightly. He delighted audiences for years, playing guitar in various country bands that filled dance halls across the region. His musical talent brought happiness to many.
Marlo was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Willuweit; his sister, Reda Schaller; and his nephew, Mark Schaller. He is survived by his nephew, Michael Schaller, of Berkeley, California.
Marlo's life was a simple one, rich in community and music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held in a graveside service at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, in Jamison, Nebraska at 11 am on Thursday, May, 29.
