Mable Marie Bradford was born in Wisconsin on October 17, 1919. She graduated high school in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Mable was united in marriage to Sidney Lawrence Bradford. Mable has always been a loving and supporting wife to her husband. She was able to travel with her husband overseas while he served in the Army. She maintained the household and care for the children on her own while her husband was away at war. Mable accomplished this with a kind and loving heart. She was always a giving person and looked for the good in each person. One of her last wishes was to be able to remain at home until she passed on. Mable was cared for in her home until she passed on 08/10/2010 at 01:00 AM Tuesday morning. Mable will be missed; but her kindness and love has left a mark on each heart of her family members and all who knew her.
Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney; parents Guy and Gertrude McGinnley; two sisters, Marion and Patricia; one brother, Spencer and a great-grandchild, Ellery Walker.
Mable is survived by her bother, Jerry of Wisconsin; son, Arthur White of Bonesteel, South Dakota; daughter, Patricia Martin of Texas; grandson, Delbert and Mandy White of Bonesteel, South Dakota; granddaughter, Karen Reiser of Butte, Nebraska. Mable has raised Delbert and Karen since they were both babies and has been a loving mother to her four children. Grandchildren, Mark White of Bonesteel, South Dakota; Tina White of Florida; Kim White of Ohio; David White of Florida; Brad Martin of Texas; Lori Markle of Texas; Susan Martin of Texas; Kimberly Martin of Texas; as well as 16 great-grand children and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke, SD.
