Linda Lou Ella Peterson was born December 1, 1941 in Burke, South Dakota to Dale and Cecile (Schultz) Peterson. She died May 20, 2015 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Burke, South Dakota at the age of 73 years. As a young girl she lived in Minnesota and Bellevue, Nebraska, where her dad worked in the Martin Bomber Plant. The family moved back to Bonesteel to the farm following the end of World War II. Linda attended school in Bonesteel for twelve years, graduating in 1960. She attended Beauty School in Rapid City, after which she worked in Gregory, until her marriage to her high school boyfriend, Loren Sieh on February 24, 1962. It had blizzard for several days before, and Linda was worried if Loren would make it to the church. They lived in Omaha, where Linda was a homemaker and babysat for children in her home. During these years they were blessed with the birth of Willie in 1962 and Andrea in 1965. The street they lived on had 56 school age children. In September of 1969 they moved to Naper and bought the Naper Super Service, which they ran until May of 2004. During this time a son Rick was born in 1973 and a daughter Tarra in 1978. Linda was also a teacher's aide in the Naper School. After closing the station, she worked for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services as a provider for several persons in Naper and Butte. During this time she also coached Special Olympics. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and playing games on the computer. Linda enjoyed many activities through her years. She acquired the name 'Garage Sale Grandma' from her grandchildren that knew her passion well of finding great deals. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and displaying them in her home. Her special delight was having her grandchildren come to her home during the Christmas breaks and during the summers.
