Linda Lou (Martin) Foster was born January 18th, 1959, the fifth child of Robert and Betty (Tech) Martin at Burke, SD. Linda attended school at Neuharth country school. After the school closed, she attended the Burke School district, graduating in 1977. She went to National College of Business in Rapid City for 1 year then worked for a year. Her son Christropher James was born on September 13th, 1979, in Rapid City. She and Chris moved to Springfield. There she attended USDS/Springfield, graduating in 1983. They then moved to Pierre, where Linda worked at the State Health Lab for 38 years, retiring in 2018. She also worked various part time jobs. After retiring from the lab, she worked at Walmart full-time until 2020.

She met Bob Foster on November 15th, 1989. They were Married September 15th, 1990. Shortly after the marriage Bob adopted Chris and had many enjoyable sporting trips following Chris and his many sporting events. “And I just enjoyed being together with Bob for 36 years.”

Preceding Linda in death was her parents Robert and Betty (Tech) Martin. Her in-laws, Robert and Selma (Leach) Foster, Sister-in-law Ellen Kelly and sister-in- law Barb Martin. Grandparents, cousins, and several aunts and uncles.

Surviving Linda is her husband Bob, Son Christopher, His Wife Kristina and 3 grandsons: Trey, Wylie and Finnegan. Siblings; Bob (Susan), Bev, Tim (Karen), Tom (Cathy), Two Estranged Sisters, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.
