Linda Marie Lampman was born February 24, 1950 at Fairfax, South Dakota to Clifford and Rosie (Janousek) Bush and she died October 28, 2024 at the Wagner Community Hospital in Wagner, South Dakota at the age of 74 years.

Linda was raised and received her education in Fairfax.  She was united in marriage to Edward Remter On October 26, 1968 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Spencer, Nebraska.  To this union three children were born: Dale, Julie and Staci.

Linda worked at the Tee-Pee Café in Bonesteel.  She also served as the Village Clerk in Dannebrog, Nebraska.  Her longest held position, which she retired from, was with Walgreens in the photo department.  She spent many hours quilting and doing needle work.  She also loved gardening and canning.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax as well as the American Legion Auxiliary.

Linda was united in marriage to Leo Lampman on June 17, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Rosie; her son, Dale; her former husband Edward Remter; her brothers: Roy, Merle, Everett, and Lyle Eugene and her sisters Edith and Shirley.

Linda is survived by her husband, Leo; her daughters: Julie Martin and Staci (Matthew) Barley; a granddaughter Elizabeth; her brother Stanley Bush; her sisters: Rose Westra, Louise Anderson and Carol Shanahan; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Linda Lampman, age 74, of Fairfax, SD will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax.  Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Fairfax.  There will be a prayer service on Friday at 7:00 PM at the church.  Visitation will 1 hour prior to both the services at the Church.
