Dorothy Leann Schultz was born September 18, 1950 in Stuart, Nebraska to Fritz and Dorothy (Riley) Kohle and she died April 9, 2024 at her home near Naper, Nebraska at the age of 73 years.

Dorothy attended Stuart Catholic grade school and then Stuart High School, graduating with the class of 1969.  After getting married to Robert Norton and moving to California in 1971, she had a son, Jason Norton.  Living in California until moving back to Stuart in 1990.  She then married Robert Schultz of Naper, Nebraska, her husband of 28 years.  She enjoyed living on the farm the last 28 years helping with the cattle and her little baby calves.  Leann also enjoyed having her horses and her love of the outdoors.  She loved her years in the bowling league with her girlfriends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lawrence and Bertha Nagel, parents Fritz Kohle and Dorothy Cline, her brother Frank Kohle and her sister Connie Brenden.

Leann is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Schultz; her son Jason Norton; her sister and brother-in-law Milt and Shelly Thompson; her other sister and brother-in-law Jeff and Jolene Schonebaum; brother-in-law Tom Brenden as well as several nieces, nephews and even some great-nieces and nephews.

Leann's faith meant a lot to her and she enjoyed the community and people.

Memorial services for Leann Schultz, age 73, of Naper, NE will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Naper, NE.  Burial will be at a later date.   There will be visitation from 6 PM until 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, on Sunday at the church
