Judith Faye Andrews - Maka Akan Mani Win - was born March 24, 1959 at Wagner, South Dakota. She entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2012 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Judith attended Head Start t the Coffee House. She went to grade school at St. Charles and Bonesteel, graduating in May of 1977. She went on to Black Hills State at Spearfish for one year and then took classes at Sinte Gleska.

She worked at various jobs: Milk's Camp Industries, Ft. Randall Casino, NAAP, SWA and her last jobs was with Dakota Association in administration. She went on to become a Licensed Pastor for Bazille Creek UCC in Sante, Nebraska. She loved meeting people and made a lot of friends. She had a caring heart for all children.

She attended many church functions all over the States. From Dakota Association and Mission meetings, South Dakota State Conference, General Synod and National youth events. Her biggest and most exciting meeting was in Hawaii, with several churches.

We celebrate her life and are thankful to God for her. She was called to serve God in so many ways. What a beautiful gift.

Judith was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents: Jesse, Sr. and Mercy Andrews and Chris and Dora Yellow Hawk; her brother, Ron; her nephews: Derek Yellow Hawk and Wilson Andrews; her niece, Amber Old Lodge; her great-niece, Faye Yellow Hawk and her grandpa, Collins Yellow Hawk.

Judith is survived by her parents, Hampton and Mercedes Andres; her siblings: Barb (Ivy) Timber, her twin, Judy (Neil) Hanson, Byron (Brenda) Andrews, Arlene Andrews, and Kevin Andrews; all of her nieces, nephews, aunts, one uncle, Jesse, Jr.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and her grandma, Opal.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Bonesteel City Hall. Burial will be in the Ponca Creek UCC Cemetery, rural St. Charles. There will be a wake beginning on Sunday at 3:00 PM at the hall.
