Dr. Howard Emil Chamberlain, son of Glenn and Beatrice Chamberlain of San Leandro, California.  Howard is the husband of Imogene Kehn Chamberlain, who is the daughter of Martha and Loue Kehn of near Fairfax, South Dakota.  Howard and Imogene recently moved to the Butte Senior Living from Alpine, Texas where they had lived for several years.

Dr. Chamberlain retired from Texas A & M University College Station, Texas where he taught for 28 years in the Management Department.  Prior to teaching at Texas A & M he was an Industrial Engineer employed by a large Caterpillar dealer in the San Francisco Bay area.

During his tenure at Texas A & M, Dr. Chamberlain was also a faculty advisor and chief flight instructor to the flying club, where Imogene was also an instructor.

Dr. Chamberlain and Imogene spent several months in Beijing, China as an exchange professor of Management at the University of Business Education.  This trip back from Beijing to America completed the second half of their round-the-world travels.

Dr. Chamberlain had a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the University of California Berkeley, a Masters in Engineering Degree Oregon State University, Corvallis and a Doctorate Degree in Business from the University of Washington, Seattle, plus post doctoral studies.

Dr. Chamberlain completed the rating for Airline Transport Pilot, single-engine.  He enjoyed many years of wonderful flying experiences teaching as well as delivering new aircraft to Australia, Europe and many parts of America.  To all you aircraft pilots, do your GUMP check and always clear before you turn.

Dr. Chamberlain leaves to mourn his best friend, Imogene, his wife of 65 years; his sister-in-law, Beverly Chamberlain and a host of relatives and friends around the world.
