Gerald "Jerry" A. Teichman was born October 7, 1960 in Moline, Illinois to Gerald L. and Virginia (Monroe) Teichman. He died January 24, 2016 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Burke, South Dakota at the age of 55 years.
Jerry attended school in Seattle, Washington. In 1982, he enlisted in the United States Army. After his discharge, he obtained his CDL and drove truck from the east coast to the west coast. He continued until being diagnosed with cancer in 2014.
On October 1, 2005, he married Rana Best in Port Angeles, Washington. They lived in Washington for a short time before moving back to Nebraska. Jerry loved camping, fishing, working outdoors and enjoyed nothing more than time with his family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Rana of Naper; his daughter, Micaela (Cesar) Hinojosa of Fremont; a son, Kristopher (Jazzman) Albert of Fremont; a step-son, Brandon Benson of Humphrey; eight grandchildren: Kaleb, Mylee, Adison, Izayah, Sebastian, Christopher, Justin, and Logan; a sister, Wanda (Jim) Hightower of Port Orchard, Washington; two brothers: Robert (Dawn) Holbrook of Howe, Indiana and Carl (Sharon) Teichman of Burien, Washington and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Butte, NE.
