Esther Eva Wuest, 99, died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Butte Healthcare Center, Butte, NE. Esther Perlenfein was born on January 29, 1916 at Bonesteel to John and Lydia Zimbleman Perlenfein. She was baptized into the Christian faith on June 25, 1916. She was united in marriage to George Wuest on May 24th, 1939. To this union, one daughter, Theon Karen Wuest, was born. They spent their life on a farm near St. Charles, SD. Her husband George passed away in 1987. Esther continued to live on the farm, taking care of her yard, flowers and garden, which she loved to do until she entered the Butte Assisted Living in 2007. In 2009 she entered the Butte Healthcare Center where she was well cared for until the time of her death. Esther was a member of the Herrick Methodist Church. She will be lovingly missed by her family, daughter, Theon Hoar, granddaughters, Kris (Dave) Tech, Cindy (Chad) Kehn. Great-granddaughters, Tara (Ben) Herman, Kelsey (Jake) Arthur and Lacey Tech. Great-grandsons Daniel (Alisha) Tech and Tyler (Sarah) Kehn. Three-great-great- granddaughters and three great-great-grandsons, her sister-in-law Lillie Perlenfein and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, her son in law, LeRoy Hoar and her brother James Perlenfein. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke, SD. Burial will be in the Rosebud Cemetery in Bonesteel, SD. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home.
