Edna Jean Krambeck was born November 24, 1923 at St. Charles, South Dakota to John and Mable (DuVall) Hermsen. She died June 20, 2011 at Stayton, Oregon.

Edna was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Krambeck in Lake Andes, South Dakota on June 26, 1944 and to this union two children were born, Edith Karen and Kenneth Eugene "Butch".

Edna and Kenneth spent the majority of their working years in California. They retired to Gates, Oregon where they were both active in the Eagles Lodge. Edna devoted many hours of her leisure time crocheting afghans which were donated to a local nursing home.

Edna is survived by her step-grandchildren and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Helen Rasmussen, Ruby Williams and Leone Arnold; and her brothers Robert, George, Bill, Dale and John.

Graveside memorial services for Edna Jean Krambeck, of Oregon and formerly of Bonesteel. SD will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Rosebud Cemetery in Bonesteel. A lunch will follow at the Over 50 Club in Bonesteel.
