Duane Herman Camin was born May 10, 1935 at Naper, Nebraska to Henry and Ella (Gentle) Camin. He died September 29, 2009 at the Rosebud Country Care Center Nursing Home in Gregory, South Dakota at the age of 74 years.
Duane was united in marriage to Lavona Davis on May 18, 1970. They made their home in Burke where they raised their five children.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Duane is survived by his wife Lavona of Burke, South Dakota; three sons: Byron and wife Cassandra, Donald and David; two daughters: Donna and husband Quentin Moore and Darla and husband Kevin Knight, and their children; as well as three sisters: Bertha, Leona and Erma.

Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery at a later date.
