Donald George Davis was born August 7, 1920 in Fairfax, South Dakota to George and Alma Davis. He passed away May 30, 2020 at the Westgate Assisted Living Home in Omaha, Nebraska, just short of his goal of 100 years.
Don lived in Fairfax, South Dakota most of his life. He graduated from Fairfax High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
Don served in the Navy during World War II. Upon his discharge he returned to Fairfax where he and his brother Ray operated the Davis Brothers Hardware Store. He later had a career in the construction business. Don and wife Mildred enjoyed camping trips with family and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred; his parents; and his brother Ray.
Don Is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Darlene Wilken and their extended family.
