Desiree Chasing Hawk, age 34, of Bonesteel, passed away on May 13, 2015 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Milk's Camp Community Hall in Bonesteel. Burial will follow at the UCC Cemetery in St. Charles. Wake Services will begin at 7:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Milk's Camp Community Hall in Bonesteel. Desiree Chasing Hawk was born June 4, 1980 in Wagner SD to Charmayne and Wilbur Chasing Hawk. She grew up in the Milk's Camp Community and attended Bonesteel-Fairfax School in Bonesteel, SD, graduating in 1999. She has three children : Andrea Dawn (14 years old), Uriah Dean (11 years old), and Tecia Charmayne (6 years old). She was preceded in death by her parents; Uncle Josh, sister Dawn, auntie Geri, cousin Scott and Dana, Grandma Lenora and niece Cynthia Lynn, Grandpa Ernie, Uncle Duane and Reginal (Buddy) Cane. She leaves behind her brother Joshua, her children, her significant other George Godfrey, and many family and friends. She will be greatly loved and missed by all who knew her.
