Daryl Margery Shipman was born June 20, 1936 at St. Charles, South Dakota to Robert and Kathryn (McLaughlin) Hermsen and she died December 27, 2005 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 69 years.

Margery was united in marriage to Ervin Shipman on May 22, 1954 in Bonesteel, South Dakota.



Margery loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her work at St. Josephs Hospital, as well as her hobbies of gardening, sewing, crafts and baking. Her sense of humor, personality and infectious laugh brought smiles to everyones face. She will be greatly missed.



Margery was preceded in death by her brother, Duane; her parents, Robert and Kathryn and her grandparents.



Margery is survived by her husband, Ervin; her daughter, Lana Gintz (Stephan); her granddaughters: Heather and Stefnie; her brothers: Denzel (Lorraine) and Vernon; her nieces and nephews; as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Rosebud Cemetery in Bonesteel, South Dakota.
