Daniel "Dan" William Skalla, 70, of Bonesteel, SD died on Nov. 30, 2020. Dan was born June 12, 1950 to Lester and Vera (King) Skalla. He attended school in Bonesteel, SD and he was very active in sports. He played basketball and was quarterback on his high school football team. Dan attended Southern State College in Springfield, SD. He married Sandra (Pietz) Skalla in 1975 and had three children. Dan, who could fix anything, spent the bulk of his career working for Musivend in Sioux Falls. Dan loved to hunt, fish, and watch his Minnesota Vikings play. He is survived by his three children, Cory Skalla, Dusty (Skalla) Carter, and Casey Skalla. His 4 grandchildren Hunter, Raelyn, Finley and McKayla. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Lester and Vera Skalla and his brother Gary Skalla. Dan will be missed by all his family and friends. The family hopes to have a small memorial service in the future.
