Clarence H Tatum JR was born January 1, 1932 to Clarence SR and Pearl (McGeorge) Tatum near Fairfax, SD. He was born in an old rock house North of the Hoffman farm. He died July 24, 2013 doing what he loved.
Clarence attended country school on Scalp Creek. He quit school at the age of 14 to run the Ranch due to his Father's illness. His life's passion was his horses, cows and anything to do with the Ranch. On September 5, 1995 he married Marleen Seiders. They started their marriage on Scalp Creek and then moved to Town in 1998.
He touched the lives of many and had a story for everyone. Everyone has a story about him. You would never find him without his pliers or his handy dandy pocket knife.
He left behind his wife Marleen of Fairfax, SD: two sons , Ed Seiders of Billings, MT, Erin (Jenny) Seiders of Somerset, SD,; two daughters, Darla Seiders of Fairfax,SD, Dulcie Seiders of Brush Creek, TN. ; two sisters, Mildred Raymond of Ft Pierre, SD, Mammie (Ed) McCauley of Cottage Grove, OR., honorary brother Edmund Trautman.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, two brother-in-laws, Bob Raymond and Jim Johnson, a very close friend Helmer Jensen, two great grandsons in infancy Vincent and Angel.
