Carol was born on June 5, 1945 at Burke, South Dakota to John and Helen Hutchison. Both parents have preceded Carol in death. Carol died at the Winner Long Term Care Center on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Carole lived with family members in Burke until 1987 and then Community Connections in Winner became her home. In 2010 Caro moved to the Haisch Haus for assisted living in Bonesteel. Carol had a short stay in February of 2013 at the Winner Long Term Care Center before her death.

Carol had Jesus in her heart. She loved dancing, bowling, movies, eating at Dairy Queen and shared many other interests with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and got to tour different places in South Dakota. She always called Burke, "My Home Town."

Carol touched many lives with her love, smiles and personality. Many family members, relatives and friends will miss Carol.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church in Burke. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Burke. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
