Bonnie K Bartlett was born on August 12, 1927 and passed into the next life March 9, 2020. Bonnie was as beautiful as she was selfless. She instituted an open door policy her whole life. Her door was always unlocked, if you needed anything she was there. Even if you didn't need anything she made sure to send you out the door with something. That something was usually cookies, banana bread, hot coffee and a feeling of being understood and loved. From her beginning days of a little girl on the family ranch to her final days in Gregory South Dakota she was surrounded by a crew from all walks of life. She liked it that way. Her world was filled with color, sarcasm, and strength. She was diagnosed with Bone Cancer in 2006 and given 3-5 years to live, she laughed at the diagnosis and continued to care for her family for another 14 years. She left a mark on this world that won't soon be forgotten. In her words "The string is strong" referencing the unseen connection that we hold to those that we love. Bonnie is survived by her 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
