Beulah Lorraine Buckman Tamayo was born January 16, 1936, to Mark and Lucille (Archambeau) Buckman in rural St. Charles, S.D. She was called to the spirit world on March 21, 2015.
Beulah moved to Omaha in 1954, and worked at the Omaha Livestock Exchange as a cook for 11 years, then at Bethany Lutheran Home in the dining services for 25 years, retiring November 4, 2014.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willie; 3 brothers, 3 sisters.
Survivors include her 3 sons, Rick (Jean) Tamayo, Mike (Mary) Tamayo, all of Council Bluffs, Steve (Suzann) Tamayo, of Bellevue, Neb.; daughter, Angela Kling; and special friend, Joel Waters, of Council Bluffs; 2 granddaughters who she and Willie raised, Becky and Nikkie, of Omaha, Neb.; along with 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; niece, Pauline (Ernie) Pourier, of Winnebago, Neb.; nephew, Melvin (Joyce) Chasing Hawk, of Wagner, S.D.; nieces and nephews in South Dakota and Council Bluffs
