Obituary

Betty Lou Rhoades Craig, daughter of Charles Avery and Cora Lenora Rhoades, passed away on November 21st 2007, in Cot-tonwood Arizona.

She was born in Burke, South Dakota, on January 4th, 1932, and resided in Texas, California, Alaska and Hawaii, and most re-cently in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Betty was married to William Wal-ter Craig, who preceded her in death.

Professionally, Betty worked as an executive secretary in bank-ing, construction, and architecture. She was a member of the Burke Methodist Church, and of the El Paso Border Patrol Museum. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women of Alaska.

Betty loved to travel, and en-joyed sewing, reading, and oil and watercolor painting.

Betty is survived by her chil-dren, Robin Brean of Cottonwood, AZ, Michele Craig Bos of Louis-ville, KY, Michael Craig of Elec-tra, TX, and Roxana Jimeniz of Red Bluff, CA, and nine grandchil-dren and four great-grandchildren..

The family is grateful for the love shared by all of her friends, and the care given to Betty by the Sedona Cancer Center and the Hospice of the Verde Valley.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Burke. There will be a prayer service on Friday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
