Ashley Aneas Rosand was born on January 16th, 1984. She died on May 17th, 2014 as a result of a car accident. She graduated in 2002 from Aberdeen Central High School. She worked at Hardee"s during high school. Later she worked at Midstate"s Printing, Generation X-treme and then BAE. Her son Branson was born January 5th, 2006. She met John Baldwin the true love of her life, in June 2013. Planning her life with John, she moved to Bonesteel, SD in December 2013. They were planning to be married on August 16th, 2014. She worked for Hausmann Construction in Bonesteel, SD and also as a rural mail carrier in Gregory, SD. She died while delivering the mail. Ashley loved riding horses with her son Branson and helping her fiance" John on the tractors with planting and harvesting.

She is survived by her son Branson, fiance" John Baldwin, mother Susan Brick, brothers Austin Brick and Marshall Hanson, grandmother Delores Rosand, aunts and uncles Karen (Phil) Strege, Linda (Keith) Stanfill, Debra (Jeff) Schaefer, Craig Rosand, Gale Everett, and cousins Ben, Crolyn, Katherine, Allison, Susan, Tony, Adam, Adrian, Ryan, MacKenzie, and Mark. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Rosand and uncle, Robert Rosand, Jr.

There will be visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bonesteel on Tuesday, May 20th, starting at 6:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and a funeral service on Wednesday, May 21st, at 11:00 a.m. A meal will follow at the Bonesteel City Hall. There will also be a visitation at Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, SD on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a brief service and burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Refreshments will be served at the church following interment.
