Preceded in death parents, Fred and Emma Smizer; siblings, D. Eileen Thies, Harlan Smizer, Jean Smizer,; half brothers, Leo Smizer, Walt Smizer. Survived by husband, Carol J. Pinger, son, Kevin Benzel, daughter, Krystal (Beau) Benzel-Griego; sisters, Mary Jane (Cedric) Fedde, Bonnie Mask, Linda Moerike (Clayton Steele); many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends; special little friend, Trevor Shimerdia.
Services Thursday 11:.00 a.m. at Rejoice Lutheran Church. Visitation starting Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. with Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at the John A. Gentleman Pacific Street Chapel.
Graveside services for Ann (Smizer) Pinger, age 77, of Omaha, NE and formerly of Burke, SD will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Graceland Cemetery in Burke. Everyone is invited to meet at Clausen Funeral Home, Burke, and travel to the cemetery in procession.
